Mammoth Film Festival^TM Crowns First Winner

MAMMOTH LAKES, CA--Organizers of the Mammoth Film Festival^TM are pleased to announce that the 2007 award for Best Picture was won by Spirit of the Marathon. The Best Picture award is the top prize at the festival.

The award was presented at the conclusion of the first annual Mammoth Film Festival^TM competition, by festival founder Meng King and co-founder Andreas Wettstein, and was accepted by the film's director, Jon Dunham, and associate producer, Melissa Leggett. Also on hand for the screening and presentation was one of the film's stars, Olympic medalist, Deena Kastor.
